Liar's Dice

Master the art of bluffing in this classic dice drinking game!

🎲 Game Setup

  • Players: 2-6 players (best with 4-6)
  • Equipment: 5 dice and 1 cup per player
  • Drinks: Beer, wine, or your preferred beverage
  • Duration: 15-30 minutes per round

📜 How to Play

1. Roll the Dice

Each player rolls their 5 dice under their cup and looks at their own dice secretly.

2. Make a Bid

The first player makes a bid about the total number of a specific die face across ALL players' dice.

3. Raise or Challenge

Next player either raises the bid (higher quantity or higher die face) or calls "Liar!"

4. Reveal

When someone calls "Liar!", all dice are revealed. Count the actual number of the bid die face.

⚡ Bidding Rules

Example: If the current bid is "3 fives", you can bid:
  • Higher quantity: "4 fives" or "5 fives"
  • Same quantity, higher face: "3 sixes"
  • Or call "Liar!" if you think there aren't 3 fives total

Important: You cannot bid lower quantities or lower die faces!

🏆 Winning & Drinking Rules

If the Bid is Accurate
  • The challenger (who called "Liar!") loses
  • They drink and lose one die
  • They start the next round
If the Bid is Too High
  • The bidder loses
  • They drink and lose one die
  • The challenger starts next round
Elimination: When a player loses all their dice, they're out! Last player remaining wins the game.
